| 1 | Καὶ κύριος ἐπεσκέψατο τὴν Σαρραν, καθὰ εἶπεν, καὶ ἐποίησεν κύριος τῇ Σαρρα, καθὰ ἐλάλησεν, |
And the Lord visited Sarrha, as he said, and the Lord did to Sarrha, as he spoke. | The birth of Isaac. Gn.21.1-8 | The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had promised. | וַיהוָה פָּקַד אֶת־שָׂרָה כַּאֲשֶׁר אָמָר וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה לְשָׂרָה כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֵּר׃ |

| 2 | καὶ συλλαβοῦσα ἔτεκεν Σαρρα τῷ Αβρααμ υἱὸν εἰς τὸ γῆρας εἰς τὸν καιρόν, καθὰ ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ κύριος. |
And she conceived and bore to Abraam a son in old age, at the set time according as the Lord spoke to him. | | And Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. | וַתַּהַר וַתֵּלֶד שָׂרָה לְאַבְרָהָם בֵּן לִזְקֻנָיו לַמֹּועֵד אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר אֹתֹו אֱלֹהִים׃ |

| 3 | καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Αβρααμ τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ τοῦ γενομένου αὐτῷ, ὃν ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ Σαρρα, Ισαακ. |
And Abraam called the name of his son that was born to him, whom Sarrha bore to him, Isaac. | | Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac. | וַיִּקְרָא אַבְרָהָם אֶת־שֶׁם־בְּנֹו הַנֹּולַד־לֹו אֲשֶׁר־יָלְדָה־לֹּו שָׂרָה יִצְחָק׃ |

| 4 | περιέτεμεν δὲ Αβρααμ τὸν Ισαακ τῇ ὀγδόῃ ἡμέρᾳ, καθὰ ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ ὁ θεός. |
And Abraam circumcised Isaac on the eighth day, as God commanded him. | | And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. | וַיָּמָל אַבְרָהָם אֶת־יִצְחָק בְּנֹו בֶּן־שְׁמֹנַת יָמִים כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה אֹתֹו אֱלֹהִים׃ |

| 5 | Αβρααμ δὲ ἦν ἑκατὸν ἐτῶν, ἡνίκα ἐγένετο αὐτῷ Ισαακ ὁ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ. |
And Abraam was a hundred years old when Isaac his son was born to him. | | Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. | וְאַבְרָהָם בֶּן־מְאַת שָׁנָה בְּהִוָּלֶד לֹו אֵת יִצְחָק בְּנֹו׃ |

| 6 | εἶπεν δὲ Σαρρα Γέλωτά μοι ἐποίησεν κύριος· ὃς γὰρ ἂν ἀκούσῃ, συγχαρεῖταί μοι. |
And Sarrha said, The Lord has made laughter for me, for whoever shall hear shall rejoice with me. | | And Sarah said, "God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me." | וַתֹּאמֶר שָׂרָה צְחֹק עָשָׂה לִי אֱלֹהִים כָּל־הַשֹּׁמֵעַ יִצְחַק־לִי׃ |

| 7 | καὶ εἶπεν Τίς ἀναγγελεῖ τῷ Αβρααμ ὅτι θηλάζει παιδίον Σαρρα; ὅτι ἔτεκον υἱὸν ἐν τῷ γήρει μου. |
And she said, Who shall say to Abraam that Sarrha suckles a child? for I have born a child in my old age. | | And she said, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would suckle children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age." | וַתֹּאמֶר מִי מִלֵּל לְאַבְרָהָם הֵינִיקָה בָנִים שָׂרָה כִּי־יָלַדְתִּי בֵן לִזְקֻנָיו׃ |

| 8 | Καὶ ηὐξήθη τὸ παιδίον καὶ ἀπεγαλακτίσθη, καὶ ἐποίησεν Αβρααμ δοχὴν μεγάλην, ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἀπεγαλακτίσθη Ισαακ ὁ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ. |
And the child grew and was weaned, and Abraam made a great feast the day that his son Isaac was weaned. | Hagar and Ishmael are sent away. Gn.21.8-21 | And the child grew, and was weaned; and Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned. | וַיִּגְדַּל הַיֶּלֶד וַיִּגָּמַל וַיַּעַשׂ אַבְרָהָם מִשְׁתֶּה גָדֹול בְּיֹום הִגָּמֵל אֶת־יִצְחָק׃ |

| 9 | ἰδοῦσα δὲ Σαρρα τὸν υἱὸν Αγαρ τῆς Αἰγυπτίας, ὃς ἐγένετο τῷ Αβρααμ, παίζοντα μετὰ Ισαακ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτῆς |
And Sarrha having seen the son of Agar the Egyptian who was born to Abraam, sporting with Isaac her son, | | But Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, playing with her son Isaac. | וַתֵּרֶא שָׂרָה אֶת־בֶּן־הָגָר הַמִּצְרִית אֲשֶׁר־יָלְדָה לְאַבְרָהָם מְצַחֵק׃ |

| 10 | καὶ εἶπεν τῷ Αβρααμ Ἔκβαλε τὴν παιδίσκην ταύτην καὶ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτῆς· οὐ γὰρ κληρονομήσει ὁ υἱὸς τῆς παιδίσκης ταύτης μετὰ τοῦ υἱοῦ μου Ισαακ. |
then she said to Abraam, Cast out this bondwoman and her son, for the son of this bondwoman shall not inherit with my son Isaac. | | So she said to Abraham, "Cast out this slave woman with her son; for the son of this slave woman shall not be heir with my son Isaac." | וַתֹּאמֶר לְאַבְרָהָם גָּרֵשׁ הָאָמָה הַזֹּאת וְאֶת־בְּנָהּ כִּי לֹא יִירַשׁ בֶּן־הָאָמָה הַזֹּאת עִם־בְּנִי עִם־יִצְחָק׃ |

| 11 | σκληρὸν δὲ ἐφάνη τὸ ῥῆμα σφόδρα ἐναντίον Αβρααμ περὶ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ. |
But the word appeared very hard before Abraam concerning his son. | | And the thing was very displeasing to Abraham on account of his son. | וַיֵּרַע הַדָּבָר מְאֹד בְּעֵינֵי אַבְרָהָם עַל אֹודֹת בְּנֹו׃ |

| 12 | εἶπεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς τῷ Αβρααμ Μὴ σκληρὸν ἔστω τὸ ῥῆμα ἐναντίον σου περὶ τοῦ παιδίου καὶ περὶ τῆς παιδίσκης· πάντα, ὅσα ἐὰν εἴπῃ σοι Σαρρα, ἄκουε τῆς φωνῆς αὐτῆς, ὅτι ἐν Ισαακ κληθήσεταί σοι σπέρμα. |
But God said to Abraam, Let it not be hard before you concerning the child, and concerning the bondwoman; in all things whatsoever Sarrha shall say to you, hear her voice, for in Isaac shall your seed be called. | | But God said to Abraham, "Be not displeased because of the lad and because of your slave woman; whatever Sarah says to you, do as she tells you, for through Isaac shall your descendants be named. | וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים אֶל־אַבְרָהָם אַל־יֵרַע בְּעֵינֶיךָ עַל־הַנַּעַר וְעַל־אֲמָתֶךָ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר תֹּאמַר אֵלֶיךָ שָׂרָה שְׁמַע בְּקֹלָהּ כִּי בְיִצְחָק יִקָּרֵא לְךָ זָרַע׃ |

| 13 | καὶ τὸν υἱὸν δὲ τῆς παιδίσκης ταύτης, εἰς ἔθνος μέγα ποιήσω αὐτόν, ὅτι σπέρμα σόν ἐστιν. |
And moreover I will make the son of this bondwoman a great nation, because he is your seed. | | And I will make a nation of the son of the slave woman also, because he is your offspring." | וְגַם אֶת־בֶּן־הָאָמָה לְגֹוי אֲשִׂימֶנּוּ כִּי זַרְעֲךָ הוּא׃ |

| 14 | ἀνέστη δὲ Αβρααμ τὸ πρωῒ καὶ ἔλαβεν ἄρτους καὶ ἀσκὸν ὕδατος καὶ ἔδωκεν Αγαρ καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸν ὦμον καὶ τὸ παιδίον καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτήν. ἀπελθοῦσα δὲ ἐπλανᾶτο τὴν ἔρημον κατὰ τὸ φρέαρ τοῦ ὅρκου. |
And Abraam rose up in the morning and took loaves and a skin of water, and gave [them] to Agar, and he put the child on her shoulder, and sent her away, and she having departed wandered in the wilderness near the well of the oath. | | So Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, along with the child, and sent her away. And she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba. | וַיַּשְׁכֵּם אַבְרָהָם בַּבֹּקֶר וַיִּקַּח־לֶחֶם וְחֵמַת מַיִם וַיִּתֵּן אֶל־הָגָר שָׂם עַל־שִׁכְמָהּ וְאֶת־הַיֶּלֶד וַיְשַׁלְּחֶהָ וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתֵּתַע בְּמִדְבַּר בְּאֵר שָׁבַע׃ |

| 15 | ἐξέλιπεν δὲ τὸ ὕδωρ ἐκ τοῦ ἀσκοῦ, καὶ ἔρριψεν τὸ παιδίον ὑποκάτω μιᾶς ἐλάτης· |
And the water failed out of the skin, and she cast the child under a fir tree. | | When the water in the skin was gone, she cast the child under one of the bushes. | וַיִּכְלוּ הַמַּיִם מִן־הַחֵמֶת וַתַּשְׁלֵךְ אֶת־הַיֶּלֶד תַּחַת אַחַד הַשִּׂיחִם׃ |

| 16 | ἀπελθοῦσα δὲ ἐκάθητο ἀπέναντι αὐτοῦ μακρόθεν ὡσεὶ τόξου βολήν· εἶπεν γάρ Οὐ μὴ ἴδω τὸν θάνατον τοῦ παιδίου μου. καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἀπέναντι αὐτοῦ, ἀναβοῆσαν δὲ τὸ παιδίον ἔκλαυσεν. |
And she departed and sat down opposite him at a distance, as it were a bow-shot, for she said, Surely I cannot see the death of my child: and she sat opposite him, and the child cried aloud and wept. | | Then she went, and sat down over against him a good way off, about the distance of a bowshot; for she said, "Let me not look upon the death of the child." And as she sat over against him, the child lifted up his voice and wept. | וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתֵּשֶׁב לָהּ מִנֶּגֶד הַרְחֵק כִּמְטַחֲוֵי קֶשֶׁת כִּי אָמְרָה אַל־אֶרְאֶה בְּמֹות הַיָּלֶד וַתֵּשֶׁב מִנֶּגֶד וַתִּשָּׂא אֶת־קֹלָהּ וַתֵּבְךְּ׃ |

| 17 | εἰσήκουσεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ παιδίου ἐκ τοῦ τόπου, οὗ ἦν, καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ἄγγελος τοῦ θεοῦ τὴν Αγαρ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ Τί ἐστιν, Αγαρ; μὴ φοβοῦ· ἐπακήκοεν γὰρ ὁ θεὸς τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ παιδίου σου ἐκ τοῦ τόπου, οὗ ἐστιν. |
And God heard the voice of the child from the place where he was, and an angel of God called Agar out of heaven, and said to her, What is it, Agar? fear not, for God has heard the voice of the child from the place where he is. | | And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, and said to her, "What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not; for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. | וַיִּשְׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶת־קֹול הַנַּעַר וַיִּקְרָא מַלְאַךְ אֱלֹהִים אֶל־הָגָר מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ מַה־לָּךְ הָגָר אַל־תִּירְאִי כִּי־שָׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶל־קֹול הַנַּעַר בַּאֲשֶׁר הוּא־שָׁם׃ |

| 18 | ἀνάστηθι, λαβὲ τὸ παιδίον καὶ κράτησον τῇ χειρί σου αὐτό· εἰς γὰρ ἔθνος μέγα ποιήσω αὐτόν. |
Rise up, and take the child, and hold him in your hand, for I will make him a great nation. | | Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him fast with your hand; for I will make him a great nation." | קוּמִי שְׂאִי אֶת־הַנַּעַר וְהַחֲזִיקִי אֶת־יָדֵךְ בֹּו כִּי־לְגֹוי גָּדֹול אֲשִׂימֶנּוּ׃ |

| 19 | καὶ ἀνέῳξεν ὁ θεὸς τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῆς, καὶ εἶδεν φρέαρ ὕδατος ζῶντος καὶ ἐπορεύθη καὶ ἔπλησεν τὸν ἀσκὸν ὕδατος καὶ ἐπότισεν τὸ παιδίον. |
And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of springing water; and she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the child drink. | | Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink. | וַיִּפְקַח אֱלֹהִים אֶת־עֵינֶיהָ וַתֵּרֶא בְּאֵר מָיִם וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתְּמַלֵּא אֶת־הַחֵמֶת מַיִם וַתַּשְׁקְ אֶת־הַנָּעַר׃ |
19 |
| 20 | καὶ ἦν ὁ θεὸς μετὰ τοῦ παιδίου, καὶ ηὐξήθη. καὶ κατῴκησεν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, ἐγένετο δὲ τοξότης. |
And God was with the child, and he grew and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. | | And God was with the lad, and he grew up; he lived in the wilderness, and became an expert with the bow. | וַיְהִי אֱלֹהִים אֶת־הַנַּעַר וַיִּגְדָּל וַיֵּשֶׁב בַּמִּדְבָּר וַיְהִי רֹבֶה קַשָּׁת׃ |

| 21 | καὶ κατῴκησεν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τῇ Φαραν, καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτῷ ἡ μήτηρ γυναῖκα ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου. |
And he dwelt in the wilderness, and his mother took him a wife out of Pharan of Egypt. | | He lived in the wilderness of Paran; and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt. | וַיֵּשֶׁב בְּמִדְבַּר פָּארָן וַתִּקַּח־לֹו אִמֹּו אִשָּׁה מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃ ף |

| 22 | Ἑγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ καὶ εἶπεν Αβιμελεχ καὶ Οχοζαθ ὁ νυμφαγωγὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Φικολ ὁ ἀρχιστράτηγος τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ πρὸς Αβρααμ λέγων Ὁ θεὸς μετὰ σοῦ ἐν πᾶσιν, οἷς ἐὰν ποιῇς· |
And it came to pass at that time that Abimelech spoke, and Ochozath his friend, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, to Abraam, saying, God is with you in all things, whatsoever you may do. | Beersheba - Abraham's agreement with Abimelech. Gn.21.22-34 | At that time Abim'elech and Phicol the commander of his army said to Abraham, "God is with you in all that you do; | וַיְהִי בָּעֵת הַהִוא וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ וּפִיכֹל שַׂר־צְבָאֹו אֶל־אַבְרָהָם לֵאמֹר אֱלֹהִים עִמְּךָ בְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּה עֹשֶׂה׃ |

| 23 | νῦν οὖν ὄμοσόν μοι τὸν θεὸν μὴ ἀδικήσειν με μηδὲ τὸ σπέρμα μου μηδὲ τὸ ὄνομά μου, ἀλλὰ κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην, ἣν ἐποίησα μετὰ σοῦ, ποιήσεις μετ' ἐμοῦ καὶ τῇ γῇ, ᾗ σὺ παρῴκησας ἐν αὐτῇ. |
Now therefore swear to me by God that you will not injure me, nor my seed, nor my name, but according to the righteousness which I have performed with you you shall deal with me, and with the land in which you have sojourned. | | now therefore swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my offspring or with my posterity, but as I have dealt loyally with you, you will deal with me and with the land where you have sojourned." | וְעַתָּה הִשָּׁבְעָה לִּי בֵאלֹהִים הֵנָּה אִם־תִּשְׁקֹר לִי וּלְנִינִי וּלְנֶכְדִּי כַּחֶסֶד אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂיתִי עִמְּךָ תַּעֲשֶׂה עִמָּדִי וְעִם־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר־גַּרְתָּה בָּהּ׃ |

| 24 | καὶ εἶπεν Αβρααμ Ἑγὼ ὀμοῦμαι. |
And Abraam said, I will swear. | | And Abraham said, "I will swear." | וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם אָנֹכִי אִשָּׁבֵעַ׃ |

| 25 | καὶ ἤλεγξεν Αβρααμ τὸν Αβιμελεχ περὶ τῶν φρεάτων τοῦ ὕδατος, ὧν ἀφείλαντο οἱ παῖδες τοῦ Αβιμελεχ. |
And Abraam reproved Abimelech because of the wells of water, which the servants of Abimelech took away. | | When Abraham complained to Abim'elech about a well of water which Abim'elech's servants had seized, | וְהֹוכִחַ אַבְרָהָם אֶת־אֲבִימֶלֶךְ עַל־אֹדֹות בְּאֵר הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר גָּזְלוּ עַבְדֵי אֲבִימֶלֶךְ׃ |

| 26 | καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Αβιμελεχ Οὐκ ἔγνων, τίς ἐποίησεν τὸ πρᾶγμα τοῦτο, οὐδὲ σύ μοι ἀπήγγειλας, οὐδὲ ἐγὼ ἤκουσα ἀλλ' ἢ σήμερον. |
And Abimelech said to him, I know not who has done this thing to you, neither dist you tell it me, neither heard I it but only to-day. | | Abim'elech said, "I do not know who has done this thing; you did not tell me, and I have not heard of it until today." | וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ לֹא יָדַעְתִּי מִי עָשָׂה אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה וְגַם־אַתָּה לֹא־הִגַּדְתָּ לִּי וְגַם אָנֹכִי לֹא שָׁמַעְתִּי בִּלְתִּי הַיֹּום׃ |
26 |
| 27 | καὶ ἔλαβεν Αβρααμ πρόβατα καὶ μόσχους καὶ ἔδωκεν τῷ Αβιμελεχ, καὶ διέθεντο ἀμφότεροι διαθήκην. |
And Abraam took sheep and calves, and gave them to Abimelech, and both made a covenant. | | So Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abim'elech, and the two men made a covenant. | וַיִּקַּח אַבְרָהָם צֹאן וּבָקָר וַיִּתֵּן לַאֲבִימֶלֶךְ וַיִּכְרְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם בְּרִית׃ |

| 28 | καὶ ἔστησεν Αβρααμ ἑπτὰ ἀμνάδας προβάτων μόνας. |
And Abraam set seven ewe-lambs by themselves. | | Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock apart. | וַיַּצֵּב אַבְרָהָם אֶת־שֶׁבַע כִּבְשֹׂת הַצֹּאן לְבַדְּהֶן׃ |
28 |
| 29 | καὶ εἶπεν Αβιμελεχ τῷ Αβρααμ Τί εἰσιν αἱ ἑπτὰ ἀμνάδες τῶν προβάτων τούτων, ἃς ἔστησας μόνας; |
And Abimelech said to Abraam, What are these seven ewe-lambs which you have set alone? | | And Abim'elech said to Abraham, "What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs which you have set apart?" | וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ אֶל־אַבְרָהָם מָה הֵנָּה שֶׁבַע כְּבָשֹׂת הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר הִצַּבְתָּ לְבַדָּנָה׃ |

| 30 | καὶ εἶπεν Αβρααμ ὅτι Τὰς ἑπτὰ ἀμνάδας ταύτας λήμψῃ παρ' ἐμοῦ, ἵνα ὦσίν μοι εἰς μαρτύριον ὅτι ἐγὼ ὤρυξα τὸ φρέαρ τοῦτο. |
And Abraam said, You shall receive the seven ewe-lambs of me, that they may be for me as a witness, that I dug this well. | | He said, "These seven ewe lambs you will take from my hand, that you may be a witness for me that I dug this well." | וַיֹּאמֶר כִּי אֶת־שֶׁבַע כְּבָשֹׂת תִּקַּח מִיָּדִי בַּעֲבוּר תִּהְיֶה־לִּי לְעֵדָה כִּי חָפַרְתִּי אֶת־הַבְּאֵר הַזֹּאת׃ |

| 31 | διὰ τοῦτο ἐπωνόμασεν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου Φρέαρ ὁρκισμοῦ, ὅτι ἐκεῖ ὤμοσαν ἀμφότεροι. |
Therefore he named the name of that place, The Well of the Oath, for there they both swore. | | Therefore that place was called Beer-sheba; because there both of them swore an oath. | עַל־כֵּן קָרָא לַמָּקֹום הַהוּא בְּאֵר שָׁבַע כִּי שָׁם נִשְׁבְּעוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם׃ |

| 32 | καὶ διέθεντο διαθήκην ἐν τῷ φρέατι τοῦ ὅρκου. ἀνέστη δὲ Αβιμελεχ καὶ Οχοζαθ ὁ νυμφαγωγὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Φικολ ὁ ἀρχιστράτηγος τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπέστρεψαν εἰς τὴν γῆν τῶν Φυλιστιιμ. |
And they made a covenant at the well of the oath. And there rose up Abimelech, Ochozath his friend, and Phichol the commander-in-chief of his army, and they returned to the land of the Phylistines. | | So they made a covenant at Beer-sheba. Then Abim'elech and Phicol the commander of his army rose up and returned to the land of the Philistines. | וַיִּכְרְתוּ בְרִית בִּבְאֵר שָׁבַע וַיָּקָם אֲבִימֶלֶךְ וּפִיכֹל שַׂר־צְבָאֹו וַיָּשֻׁבוּ אֶל־אֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים׃ |

| 33 | καὶ ἐφύτευσεν Αβρααμ ἄρουραν ἐπὶ τῷ φρέατι τοῦ ὅρκου καὶ ἐπεκαλέσατο ἐκεῖ τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου Θεὸς αἰώνιος. |
And Abraam planted a field at the well of the oath, and called there on the name of the Lord, the everlasting God. | | Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God. | וַיִּטַּע אֶשֶׁל בִּבְאֵר שָׁבַע וַיִּקְרָא־שָׁם בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה אֵל עֹולָם׃ |

| 34 | παρῴκησεν δὲ Αβρααμ ἐν τῇ γῇ τῶν Φυλιστιιμ ἡμέρας πολλάς. |
And Abraam sojourned in the land of the Phylistines many days. | | And Abraham sojourned many days in the land of the Philis'tines. | וַיָּגָר אַבְרָהָם בְּאֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים יָמִים רַבִּים׃ ף |
