New English Bible (New Testament) Passage New Testament in Greek (UBS.Ed.26)

WHILE HE WAS STILL SPEAKING a Crowd appeared with the man called Judas, one of the Twelve, at their head.The Betrayal and Arrest of Jesus Lk.22.47-53 (Gethsemane) | Mt.26.47-56 | Mk.14.43-50 | Jn.18.3-12Ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος ἰδοὺ ὀχλος, καὶ ὁ λεγόμενος Ἰούδας εἷς τῶν δώδεκα προήρχετο αὐτούς, καὶ ἠγγισεν τῷ Ἰησοῦ φιλῆσαι αὐτόν.
He came up to Jesus to kiss him; but Jesus said, 'Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?'
 Ἰησοῦς δὲ εἶπεν αὐτῷ, Ἰούδα, φιλήματι τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου παραδίδως;
When his followers saw what was coming, they said, 'Lord, shall we use our swords?' ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ περὶ αὐτὸν τὸ ἐσόμενον εἶπαν, Κύριε, εἰ πατάξομεν ἐν μαχαίρῃ;
And one of them struck at the High Priest's servant, cutting off his right ear. καὶ ἐπάταξεν εἷς τις ἐξ αὐτῶν τοῦ ἀρχιερέως τὸν δοῦλον καὶ ἀφεῖλεν τὸ οὖς αὐτοῦ τὸ δεξιόν.
But Jesus answered, 'Let them have their way.' Then he touched the man's ear and healed him. Or: 'Let me do as much as this', and touching the man's ear, he healed him.
 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, Ἐᾶτε ἑως τούτου· καὶ ἀψάμενος τοῦ ὠτίου ἰάσατο αὐτόν.
Turning to the chief priests, the officers of the temple police, and the elders, who had come to seize him, he said, 'Do you take me for a bandit, that you have come out with swords and cudgels to arrest me? εἶπεν δὲ Ἰησοῦς πρὸς τοὺς παραγενομένους ἐπ' αὐτὸν ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ στρατηγοὺς τοῦ ἱεροῦ καὶ πρεσβυτέρους, Ὡς ἐπὶ λῃστὴν ἐξήλθατε μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων;
Day after day, when I was in the temple with you, you kept your hands off me. But this is your moment—the hour when darkness reigns.'
