1 Facies quoque altare ad adolendum thymiama, de lignis setim, Also thou schalt make an auter of the trees of Sechym, to brenne encense; Thou shalt make also an altar to burn incense, of setim wood. The Altar of Incense. Ex.30.1-10 | Ex.37.25-28 
2 habens cubitum longitudinis, et alterum latitudinis, id est, quadrangulum, et duos cubitos in altitudine. Cornua ex ipso procedent. and the auter schal haue a cubit of lengthe, and another cubit of brede, that is foure cornerid, and twei cubitis in heiythe; corneris schulen come forth of the auter. It shall be a cubit in length, and another in breadth, that is, foursquare, and two in height. Horns shall go out of the same.  
3 Vestiesque illud auro purissimo, tam craticulam ejus, quam parietes per circuitum, et cornua. Faciesque ei coronam aureolam per gyrum, And thou schalt clothe it with clennest gold, as wel the gridil therof, as the wallis and corneris bi cumpas therof; and thou schalt make to the auter a litil goldun coroun, And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold, as well as the grate thereof, as the walls round about and the horns. And thou shalt make to it a crown of gold round about,  
4 et duos annulos aureos sub corona per singula latera, ut mittantur in eos vectes, et altare portetur. bi cumpas, and twei goldun serclis vndur the coroun by alle sidis, that barris be put in to the serclis, and the auter be borun. And two golden rings under the crown on either side, that the bars may be put into them, and the altar be carried.  
5 Ipsos quoque vectes facies de lignis setim, et inaurabis. Also thou schalt make tho barris of the trees of Sechym, and thou schalt ouergilde; And thou shalt make the bars also of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold.  
6 Ponesque altare contra velum, quod ante arcum pendet testimonii coram propitiatorio quo tegitur testimonium, ubi loquar tibi. and thou schalt sette the auter ayens the veil, which veil hangith bifor the ark of witnessyng bifor the propiciatorie, bi which the witnessyng is hilid, where Y schal speke to thee. And thou shalt set the altar over against the veil, that hangeth before the ark of the testimony before the propitiatory wherewith the testimony is covered, where I will speak to thee.  
7 Et adolebit incensum super eo Aaron, suave fragrans, mane. Quando componet lucernas, incendet illud: And Aaron schal brenne theronne encense smellynge swetly eerli; whanne he schal araye the lanternes, he schal brenne it; And Aaron shall burn sweet smelling incense upon it in the morning. When he shall dress the lamps, he shall burn it:  
8 et quando collocabit eas ad vesperum, uret thymiama sempiternum coram Domino in generationes vestras. and whanne he settith the lanternes at euentid, he schal brenne euerlastynge encense bifor the Lord, in to youre generaciouns. And when he shall place them in the evening, he shall burn an everlasting incense before the Lord throughout your generations.  
9 Non offeretis super eo thymiama compositionis alterius, nec oblationem, et victimam, nec libabitis libamina. Ye schulen not offre theronne encense of other makyng, nethir offryng, and slayn sacrifice, nether ye schulen offre fletynge offryngis thereonne. You shall not offer upon it incense of another composition nor oblation, and victim, neither shall you offer libations.  
10 Et deprecabitur Aaron super cornua ejus semel per annum, in sanguine quod oblatum est pro peccato, et placabit super eo in generationibus vestris. Sanctum sanctorum erit Domino. And Aaron schal preie on the corneres therof onis bi the yeer, in the blood which is offrid for synne, and he schal plese theronne in youre generaciouns; it schal be the hooli of hooli thingis to the Lord. And Aaron shall pray upon the horns thereof once a year, with the blood of that which was offered for sin, and shall make atonement upon it in your generations. It shall be most holy to the Lord.  
11 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens: And the Lord spak to Moises, And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: The tabernacle tax. Ex.30.11-16
12 Quando tuleris summam filiorum Israël juxta numerum, dabunt singuli pretium pro animabus suis Domino, et non erit plaga in eis, cum fuerint recensiti. and seide, Whanne thou schalt take the summe of the sones of Israel, alle bi hem silf schulen yyue bi the noumbre prijs for her soulis to the Lord, and veniaunce schal not be in hem, whanne thei ben noumbrid. When thou shalt take the sum of the children of Israel according to their number, every one of them shall give a price for their souls to the Lord, and there shall be no scourge among them, when they shall be reckoned.  
13 Hoc autem dabit omnis qui transit ad nomen, dimidium sicli juxta mensuram templi (siclus viginti obolos habet); media pars sicli offeretur Domino. Sotheli ech that passith to the name, schal yyue this, half a sicle bi the mesure of the temple; a sicle hath twenti halpens; the myddil part of a cicle schal be offrid to the Lord. And this shall every one give that passeth at the naming, half a sicle according to the standard of the temple. A sicle hath twenty obols. Half a sicle shall be offered to the Lord.  
14 Qui habetur in numero, a viginti annis et supra, dabit pretium. He that is hadde in noumbre, fro twenti yeer and aboue, He that is counted in the number from twenty years and upwards, shall give the price.  
15 Dives non addet ad medium sicli, et pauper nihil minuet. schal yyue prijs; a riche man schal not adde to the myddil of cicle, and a pore man schal no thing abate. The rich man shall not add to half a sicle, and the poor man shall diminish nothing.  
16 Susceptamque pecuniam, quæ collata est a filiis Israël, trades in usus tabernaculi testimonii, ut sit monimentum eorum coram Domino, et propitietur animabus eor And thou schalt bitake in to vsis of the tabernacle of witnessyng the money takun, which is gaderid of the sones of Israel, that it be the mynde of hem bifor the Lord, and he schal be merciful to the soulis of hem. And the money received which was contributed by the children of Israel, thou shalt deliver unto the uses of the tabernacle of the testimony, that it may be a memorial of them before the Lord, and he may be merciful to their souls.  
17 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens: And the Lord spak to Moises, And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: The oblution basin. Ex.30.17-21
18 Facies et labrum æneum cum basi sua ad lavandum: ponesque illud inter tabernaculum testimonii et altare. Et missa aqua, and seide, Also thou schalt make a greet vessil of bras with his foundement to waische, and thou schalt sette it bitwixe the tabernacle of witnessyng and the auter of brent sacrifices; and whanne watir is put therynne, Thou shalt make also a brazen laver with its foot, to wash in: and thou shalt set it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar. And water being put into it,  
19 lavabunt in ea Aaron et filii ejus manus suas ac pedes, Aaron and hise sones schulen waische therynne her hondis and feet, Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet in it:  
20 quando ingressuri sunt tabernaculum testimonii, et quando accessuri sunt ad altare, ut offerant in eo thymiama Domino, whanne thei schulen entre in to the tabernacle of witnessyng, and whanne thei schulen neiye to the auter that thei offre therynne encense to the Lord, When they are going into the tabernacle of the testimony, and when they are to come to the altar, to offer on it incense to the Lord,  
21 ne forte moriantur; legitimum sempiternum erit ipsi, et semini ejus per successiones. lest perauenture thei dien; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastinge to hym and to his seed bi successiouns. Lest perhaps they die. It shall be an everlasting law to him, and to his seed by successions.  
22 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, And the Lord spak to Moises, And the Lord spoke to Moses, The crism oil. Ex.30.22-33
23 dicens: Sume tibi aromata, primæ myrrhæ et electæ quingentos siclos, et cinnamomi medium, id est, ducentos quinquaginta siclos, calami similiter ducentos quinquaginta, and seide, Take to thee swete smellynge spiceries, of the firste and chosun myrre, fyue hundrid siclis; and of canel the half, that is, twei hundrid and fifti siclis; Saying: Take spices, of principal and chosen myrrh five hundred sicles, and of cinnamon half so much, that is, two hundred and fifty sicles, of calamus in like manner two hundred and fifty.  
24 casiæ autem quingentos siclos, in pondere sanctuarii, olei de olivetis mensuram hin: in lijk maner of calamy twei hundrid and fifti siclis; also of casia fyue hundrid siclis, in the weiyte of seyntuarie; oile of olyue trees, the mesure hyn; And of cassia five hundred sicles by the weight of the sanctuary, of oil of olives the measure hin:  
25 faciesque unctionis oleum sanctum, unguentum compositum opere unguentarii, and thou schalt make the hooly oile of anoyntyng, an oynement maad bi the werk of a makere of oynement. And thou shalt make the holy oil of unction, an ointment compounded after the art of the perfumer,  
26 et unges ex eo tabernaculum testimonii, et arcam testamenti, And thou schal anoynte therof the tabernacle of witnessyng, and the ark of testament, and the boord with hise vessels, And therewith thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the testimony, and the ark of the testament,  
27 mensamque cum vasis suis, et candelabrum, et utensilia ejus, altaria thymiamatis, the candilstike, and the purtenaunces therof, the auteris of encense, And the table with the vessels thereof, the candlestick and furniture thereof, the altars of incense,  
28 et holocausti, et universam supellectilem quæ ad cultum eorum pertinet. and of brent sacrifice, and al the purtenaunce, that perteyneth to the ournyng of tho. And of holocaust, and all the furniture that belongeth to the service of them.  
29 Sanctificabisque omnia, et erunt Sancta sanctorum; qui tetigerit ea, sanctificabitur. And thou schalt halewe alle thingis, and tho schulen be the hooli of holi thingis; he that schal touche tho, schal be halewid. And thou shalt sanctify all, and they shall be most holy: he that shall touch them shall be sanctified.  
30 Aaron et filios ejus unges, sanctificabisque eos, ut sacerdotio fungantur mihi. Thou schalt anoynte Aaron, and hise sones, and thou schalt halewe hem, that thei be set in presthod to me. Thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and shalt sanctify them, that they may do the office of priesthood unto me.  
31 Filiis quoque Israël dices: Hoc oleum unctionis sanctum erit mihi in generationes vestras. And thou schalt seie to the sones of Israel, This oile of anoyntyng schal be hooli to me in to youre generaciouns. And thou shalt say to the children of Israel: This oil of unction shall be holy unto me throughout your generations.  
32 Caro hominis non ungetur ex eo, et juxta compositionem ejus non facietis aliud, quia sanctificatum est, et sanctum erit vobis. The fleisch of man schal not be anoyntid therof, and bi the makyng therof ye schulen not make another, for it is halewid, and it schal be hooli to you. The flesh of man shall not be anointed therewith, and you shall make none other of the same composition, because it is sanctified, and shall be holy unto you.  
33 Homo quicumque tale composuerit, et dederit ex eo alieno, exterminabitur de populo suo. What euer man makith sich oile, and yyueth therof to an alien, he schal be destried fro his puple. What man soever shall compound such, and shall give thereof to a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.  
34 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Sume tibi aromata, stacten et onycha, galbanum boni odoris, et thus lucidissimum; æqualis ponderis erunt omnia: Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Take to thee swete smellynge spyceries, stacten, and onyca, galban of good odour, and pureste encense, alle schulen be of euene weiyte. And the Lord said to Moses: Take unto thee spices, stacte, and onycha, galbanum of sweet savour, and the clearest frankincense, all shall be of equal weight. Incense. Ex.30.34-38
35 faciesque thymiama compositum opere unguentarii, mistum diligenter, et purum, et sanctificatione dignissimum. And thou schal make encence, maad by werk of oynement makere, meddlid diligentli, and pure, and moost worthi of halewyng. And thou shalt make incense compounded by the work of the perfumer, well tempered together, and pure, and most worthy of sanctification.  
36 Cumque in tenuissimum pulverem universa contuderis, pones ex eo coram tabernaculo testimonii, in quo loco apparebo tibi. Sanctum sanctorum erit vobisthymiama. And whanne thou hast powned alle thingis in to smalleste poudre, thou schalt putte therof bifor the tabernacle of witnessyng, in which place Y schal appere to thee; encense schal be to you the hooli of hooli thingis. And when thou has beaten all into very small powder, thou shalt set of it before the tabernacle of the testimony, in the place where I will appear to thee. Most holy shall this incense be to you.  
37 Talem compositionem non facietis in usus vestros, quia sanctum est Domino. Ye schulen not make siche a makyng in to youre vsis, for it is hooli to the Lord. You shall not make such a composition for your own uses, because it is holy to the Lord.  
38 Homo quicumque fecerit simile, ut odore illius perfruatur, peribit de populis suis. What euer man makith a lijk thing, that he vse the odour therof, he schal perische fro his puple. What man soever shall make the like, to enjoy the smell thereof, he shall perish out of his people.
