| 1 | The earth is Yahweh's and the fulness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein; | Antiphonal Psalm for solemn Entry into the Sanctuary. Psalm 24(v23) | לַיהוָה הָאָרֶץ וּמְלֹואָהּ תֵּבֵל וְיֹשְׁבֵי בָהּ׃ | |
| 2 | for he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers. | כִּי־הוּא עַל־יַמִּים יְסָדָהּ וְעַל־נְהָרֹות יְכֹונְנֶהָ׃ | ||
| 3 | Who shall ascend the hill of Yahweh? And who shall stand in his holy place? | מִי־יַעֲלֶה בְהַר־יְהוָה וּמִי־יָקוּם בִּמְקֹום קָדְשֹׁו׃ | ||
| 4 | He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully. | נְקִי כַפַּיִם וּבַר־לֵבָב אֲשֶׁר לֹא־נָשָׂא לַשָּׁוְא נַפְשִׁי וְלֹא נִשְׁבַּע לְמִרְמָה׃ | ||
| 5 | He will receive blessing from Yahweh, and vindication from the God of his salvation. | יִשָּׂא בְרָכָה מֵאֵת יְהוָה וּצְדָקָה מֵאֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֹו׃ | ||
| 6 | Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. | זֶה דֹּור [כ= דֹּרְשֹׁו] [ק= דֹּרְשָׁיו] מְבַקְשֵׁי פָנֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב סֶלָה׃ | ||
| 7 | Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in. | שְׂאוּ שְׁעָרִים רָאשֵׁיכֶם וְהִנָּשְׂאוּ פִּתְחֵי עֹולָם וְיָבֹוא מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֹוד׃ | ||
| 8 | Who is the King of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty, Yahweh, mighty in battle! | מִי זֶה מֶלֶךְ הַכָּבֹוד יְהוָה עִזּוּז וְגִבֹּור יְהוָה גִּבֹּור מִלְחָמָה׃ | ||
