18Caleb vero filius Hesron accepit uxorem nomine Azuba, de qua genuit Jerioth: fueruntque filii ejus Jaser, et Sobab, et Ardon. Sotheli Caleph, sone of Esrom, took a wijf, Azuba bi name, of whom he gendride Jerioth; and hise sones weren Jesar, and Sobab, and Ardon. And Caleb the son of Hesron took a wife named Azuba, of whom he had Jerioth: and her sons were Jaser, and Sobab, and Ardon. Generations - Hezron. 1Chr.2.18-24
19Cumque mortua fuisset Azuba, accepit uxorem Caleb Ephratha, quæ peperit ei Hur. And whanne Azuba was deed, Caleph took a wijf Effrata, whiche childide Hur to hym. And when Azuba was dead, Caleb took to wife Ephrata: who bore him Hur.  
20Porro Hur genuit Uri, et Uri genuit Bezeleel. Forsothe Hur gendride Hury; Hury gendride Beseleel. And Hur beget Uri: and Uri beget Bezeleel.  
21Post hæc ingressus est Hesron ad filiam Machir patris Galaad, et accepit eam cum esset annorum sexaginta: quæ peperit ei Segub. After these thingis Esrom entride to the douytir of Machir, fadir of Galaad, and he took hir, whanne he was of sixti yeer; and sche childide Segub to hym. And afterwards Hesron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Galaad, and took her to wife when he was threescore years old: and she bore him Segub.  
22Sed et Segub genuit Jair, et possedit viginti tres civitates in terra Galaad. But also Segub gendride Jair; and he hadde in possessioun thre and twenti citees in the lond of Galaad; And Segub beget Jair, and he had three and twenty cities in the land of Galaad.  
23Cepitque Gessur, et Aram oppida Jair, et Canath, et viculos ejus sexaginta civitatum: omnes isti, filii Machir patris Galaad. and he took Gessur, and Aran, the citees of Jair, and Chanath, and the townes therof of seuenti citees. Alle these weren the sones of Machir, fadir of Galaad. And he took Gessur, and Aram the towns of Jair, and Canath, and the villages thereof, threescore cities. All these, the sons of Machir father of Galaad.  
24Cum autem mortuus esset Hesron, ingressus est Caleb ad Ephratha. Habuit quoque Hesron uxorem Abia, quæ peperit ei Assur patrem Thecuæ. Sotheli whanne Esrom was deed, Caleph entride in to Effrata. And Esrom hadde a wijf Abia, which childide to hym Assir, fadir of Thecue. And when Hesron was dead, Caleb went in to Ephrata. Hesron also had to wife Abia who bore him Ashur the father of Thecua.
